Job summary

PRIMA Partners Global in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced SAP HCM Payroll Functional Consultant for a 12-month contract. The role is remote with occasional travel across the UK, and involves delivering hands-on SAP Payroll configuration in ECC6 and/or S/4HANA.

You will design Wage Type configurations, Payroll Schemas, PCRs, and ensure HMRC compliance while integrating Payroll with Finance and downstream systems. The successful candidate will deliver complex Payroll changes end-to-end.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience configuring SAP HCM Payroll within complex enterprise environments.
• Strong experience designing and configuring SAP Payroll Wage Types, including complex company-specific and statutory payment scenarios.
• Proven experience with SAP Payroll Schemas, Personnel Calculation Rules (PCRs), payroll calculations, and associated configuration.
• Strong SAP Payroll experience across ECC6 and/or S/4HANA environments.
• Proven ability to translate complex HR, Payroll, policy, and legislative requirements into robust SAP Payroll functional designs and configuration.
• Strong UK Payroll knowledge including HMRC requirements, statutory payments, and associated reporting obligations.

Responsibilities

• Design Wage Type configurations, Payroll Schemas, and PCRs for complex UK payroll scenarios.
• Ensure Payroll changes integrate with Finance and payslip outputs.
• Review configuration delivered by other SAP Payroll specialists to ensure robustness and compliance.
• Deliver hands-on SAP Payroll configuration across ECC6 and/or S/4HANA in a large enterprise environment.
