Job summary

Nutreco's Trouw Nutrition Ireland team in Belfast seeks a Sales Support Manager to manage long-tail customer accounts and support Account Managers with traded products.

You will build strong customer relationships, identify opportunities and drive growth across the portfolio, primarily remotely with occasional visits across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. This role is office-based with some field work.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, B2B sales, account management or another commercially focused customer-facing role.
• A working understanding of animal nutrition, feed products, feed mills or the wider agricultural market.
• Strong communication skills, especially confidence engaging customers by phone and building relationships remotely.
• Commercial drive, curiosity and the ability to identify and progress customer opportunities.
• Good organisation, follow-up and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple customer needs at the same time.
• Willingness to make occasional customer visits across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
• A degree in Animal Nutrition or Agricultural Science would be an advantage, but relevant commercial experience is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a varied portfolio of customers, building strong relationships and identifying opportunities.
• Promote and sell a broad traded product portfolio, including feed supplements and products for feed mills.
• Support Account Managers by managing customers’ requirements and progressing relevant commercial opportunities.
• Engage with customers mainly by phone, email and online channels with occasional field visits.
• Identify, qualify and convert sales opportunities to contribute to revenue growth.
• Prepare, present and follow up on sales proposals, account plans and actions.
• Work with Sales, Supply Chain and wider teams to deliver a consistent customer experience.
