Job summary

Trouw Nutrition, a Nutreco company, seeks a Technical Sales Advisor to translate specialist knowledge into practical nutritional solutions for B2B feed mill customers across Ireland. You’ll work with Account Managers, providing technical credibility to strengthen relationships and support sustainable growth.

Role emphasizes dairy and young animal nutrition, minerals, and feed additives, with opportunities to travel to customer sites and deliver training and on-farm support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or equivalent in Animal Science, Animal Nutrition, Agricultural Science, Veterinary Science or related.
• Experience in animal nutrition, feed, livestock production, or agriculture is preferred.
• Early-career candidates with strong technical foundation are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of ruminant production and dairy/young animal nutrition is a plus.
• Ability to interpret technical information and communicate clearly with customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and nutritional support across the ruminant portfolio, focusing on dairy and mineral nutrition.
• Visit feed mill customers and support farming customers by reviewing needs and recommending practical solutions.
• Analyse technical data and translate findings into clear, audience-appropriate recommendations.
• Deliver product presentations, training, and on-farm technical support.
• Collaborate with Account Managers on joint visits and feedback to sales strategy.
