Job summary

Chadwick Nott Legal Recruitment seeks a Risk & Compliance Solicitor to join a top UK law firm in Bristol. The role offers broad exposure and a chance to strengthen the firm’s regulatory framework across the business.

You’ll advise on regulatory issues, support onboarding and governance, deliver training, and contribute to AI-related projects, with a hybrid model allowing home-based work.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with at least 2 years' PQE.
• Experience in a law firm environment.
• Knowledge of SRA Standards and Regulations.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach; interest in legal tech and AI.

Responsibilities

• Advising on regulatory and compliance issues across the firm.
• Supporting client onboarding, conflicts and file management processes.
• Reviewing engagement documentation and contractual arrangements.
• Assisting with complaints, claims and regulatory matters.
• Delivering training and guidance to colleagues.
• Supporting internal audits, policy development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitoring regulatory developments and communicating key changes.
• Contributing to projects relating to risk, compliance, governance and legal technology, including AI.
