Job summary

Vincere is seeking an Integration Engineer with strong hands-on Rio EPR experience to support a major NHS integration programme. The role is remote with occasional travel and a daily rate of £550 Inside IR35.

You will design, implement and maintain Rio EPR interfaces, bridging patient administration, scheduling and other NHS systems while aligning with information governance, security and data protection requirements. Collaboration with clinical and IT stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering integrations in NHS with Rio EPR exposure.
• Strong understanding of Rio data model and NHS interfaces.
• Proficiency in HL7 v2, FHIR and data exchange patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain Rio EPR integration solutions with a focus on data flow between Rio and NHS systems.
• Configure Rio EPR interfaces across patient administration, community, mental health and scheduling modules.
• Capture requirements from clinical, operational and IT stakeholders and translate into Rio-based designs.
• Develop interfaces between Rio EPR and NHS systems such as PAS, LIS and data warehouses.
• Troubleshoot Rio EPR integration issues including data mapping and message failures.
• Ensure integrations comply with NHS interoperability standards, IG and GDPR.
• Collaborate with vendor teams to test, configure and optimize integrations and upgrades.
• Document interface designs, mappings and configurations for re-use.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
