Job summary

Taylor Hopkinson is seeking a Technical Design Manager – Renewable Energy to join a globally recognised organization. This home-based role involves leading design activities across the entire project lifecycle for grid-scale renewable and energy storage projects.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in power system engineering and a solid understanding of various energy systems. You will work closely with project teams to ensure the effective delivery of energy infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in power system engineering and electrical network design.
• Knowledge of renewable energy systems and grid connections (HV to LV).
• Familiarity with substations (AIS & GIS), inverters, and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Leading power system network design activities.
• Delivering engineering feasibility studies.
• Supporting the design of large‑scale energy storage and renewable systems.
