Job summary

Children's Support Service in Wickford (Essex) is seeking a Reintegration Tutor for a 1-year fixed term with a view to permanence. The role supports KS3/KS4 students reintegrating into mainstream education, with travel as needed. 37 hours weekly, term time plus one INSET week, remote flexibility offered.

Salary scale 8, points 25–28, plus fringe allowance. Safeguarding checks apply. Start date 02/11/2026; closing date 18/09/2026.

Qualifications

• GCSEs or equivalent in English and maths at grade 4/C or above.
• Full UK driving licence with access to a car and business use insurance.

Responsibilities

• Lead small groups and individuals in various settings (schools, homes, libraries, hospitals).
• Deliver personalised learning programmes.
• Foster a supportive, caring and positive learning environment.
• Work closely with families, schools and other professionals.
• Contribute to students’ academic, social and emotional growth.
