Job summary

Ashbury is seeking Regulatory Advisors (Non-Food) for 12-month fixed-term contracts or contractor roles across the United Kingdom. You will provide risk-based regulatory advice to Ashbury and clients, ensuring compliance and enabling safe product launches.

Based in a home-based role, you will scan regulatory developments, review client policies, manage complaints, and train teams. Fluency in English and a track record in product safety are essential for success at Ashbury.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification in product safety, consumer protection, or related area.
• In-depth regulatory knowledge for product safety, codes of practice and guidance.
• Strong understanding of legal requirements and consumer trends in product information.
• Awareness of regulatory changes due to new legislation, case law and guidance.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out product information services, such as formulation, regulatory adaptations, specification/pack copy review, artwork review and branded product reviews for compliance.
• Providing regulatory advice to Ashbury and its clients to ensure legal compliance and commercial competitiveness.
• Researching and horizon scanning for changes impacting the regulatory landscape.
• Reviewing and advising on changes to client policies in light of new regulations and guidance.
• Managing client complaints and drafting responses; providing risk-based recommendations.
• Leading or supporting client recalls/withdrawals with supporting information as needed.
• Liaising with government agencies and industry bodies; delivering regulatory training.
• Developing relationships with client decision makers and attending client meetings.
