You will work within Leeds Mental Wellbeing Service, training with university tutors while delivering CBT to clients in clinics across Leeds and remotely.

The role requires 2+ years of relevant experience, strong interpersonal skills, and commitment to both academic and clinical demands, including risk assessment and weekly supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience working with clients with a wide range of mental health conditions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to the academic and clinical requirements of the CBT training.
• Competent in risk assessment and case management.
• Willingness to work across Leeds and Hull University training and clinics.

Responsibilities

• Train as CBT therapist at Hull University while employed by LMWS.
• Deliver high-intensity CBT interventions within a step 3 model.
• Maintain a clinical caseload of up to 4 clients per day.
• Record therapy sessions for training purposes and share for supervision.
• Attend university sessions twice weekly and work in both face-to-face Leeds clinics and remote settings.
• Manage time to meet deadlines and adapt to service changes.
