Job summary

Rappor Consultants Ltd is seeking an Associate/Principal Landscape Architect (Planning) to join our growing team in Cheltenham, with the flexibility to work remotely up to 80% to suit your location.

You'll lead landscape planning projects from inception to implementation, prepare landscape reports, produce masterplans and advise on design codes, while mentoring junior staff and contributing to business development.

Qualifications

• Chartered Landscape Architect.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD/Vectorworks/Keyscape and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to research and to write high quality reports (demonstrated through your work experience).
• Experience in collaborative working with clients, stakeholders and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Project manage landscape planning projects from inception through to implementation.
• Prepare landscape planning reports and input into site promotion documents and design statements.
• Produce landscape strategy plans and masterplans to support developments.
• Update templates and stay abreast of legislation, regulations and design codes.
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical advice within the team.
• Support financial management of projects and resource planning.
• Prepare and manage fee proposals, bids and tenders for new work.
• Carry out business development and liaise with clients and stakeholders.
• Represent the company at meetings, appeals and public consultations.
