Job summary

Principal People is recruiting an entry-level Health and Safety Consultant to work with a leading consultancy and a portfolio of retail clients. You will support a team of senior consultants delivering Health and Safety services across UK clients, with travel to client sites and the flexibility to work from home.

Ideal candidates hold or are pursuing NEBOSH General Certificate, have a driving licence, and show enthusiasm for making a real-world impact in Health and Safety.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or active progression towards it.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK.
• Positive attitude and ability to build relationships with clients.
• Enthusiasm for Health and Safety as a career and making a real-world impact.
• Good organisation and autonomous working style.

Responsibilities

• Visit client sites three to four days per week, mainly in London and the South-East.
• Assist with Fire, PUWER and COSHH assessments under guidance.
• Conduct site audits and inspections using established risk management templates.
• Support the implementation of Health and Safety management systems for clients.
• Assist with training and coaching client staff.
