Job summary

Adler and Allan seeks a junior Environmental Consultant to work from home with supervision by a Principal Consultant and Regional Manager in Wokingham. You will conduct field sampling, data collection and contribute to Environmental Claims Management and Phase I/II site investigations.

Role requires a degree in earth sciences, strong communication, and the ability to work in a dynamic team. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel are advantageous.

Qualifications

• A degree in a relevant earth sciences, or geo-environmental discipline.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues, workforce and clients.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Full UK driving licence may be required for site visits.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking field monitoring works including measurement and sampling of soil, surface waters, groundwater and air quality following pollution incidents.
• Support senior colleagues in Environmental Claims Management and other pollution incidents.
• Carry out desk studies and surveys to support site investigations.
• Assist in writing technical reports.
• Input data from site visits into larger data analysis.
• Provide accurate and timely information to line management.
• Share knowledge and best practices to support team performance.
• Prepare samples for laboratory analysis and liaise with the laboratory.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety, technical robustness and organisation.
