Job summary

Adler and Allan is seeking a proactive Environmental Consultant to support field monitoring and data collection for environmental incidents and insurance claims. The role is home-based, managed from Wokingham, with supervision from a Principal Consultant and Regional Manager.

You will perform sampling, data entry and assist in technical report writing, contributing to Phase I/II investigations and ensuring safety and technical robustness across tasks.

Qualifications

• Degree in earth sciences or geo-environmental discipline.
• Experience in environmental assessment or monitoring is advantageous but training will be provided.
• Professional service image when visiting properties and interacting with the public.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking field monitoring works including measurement and sampling of soil, surface waters, groundwater and air quality following pollution incidents.
• Supporting senior colleagues in Environmental Claims Management and other environmental pollution incidents.
• Carrying out desk studies and surveys to support Phase I and Phase II investigations.
• Assist in the writing of technical reports.
• Inputting data from site visits to feed into data analysis.
• Provision of accurate and timely information to line management.
• Supporting team performance by sharing knowledge and best practices.
