Job summary

Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust seeks an exceptional Consultant Radiologist to join our team at Arrowe Park Hospital in Upton. The role includes a GI focus and a job plan of 10 Programmed Activities per week, with up to 2 days home working.

You'll participate in diagnostic on-call, weekend sessions, and contribute to service development, research and teaching. The post offers a supportive environment and opportunities for professional growth within a large NHS Trust.

Qualifications

• Entry onto GMC Specialist Register or within six months of CCT/CCST/CESR.
• Demonstrable competencies in general radiology across Radiography/ultrasound/CT and MRI.
• Experience in regular clinical audit.
• Ability to relate to and work within a team.
• Ability to carry out quality improvement work and/or medical research.

Responsibilities

• Job plan is 10 Programmed Activities (8.5 Direct Clinical Care, 1.5 Core SPA).
• Participate in the diagnostic on-call rota and weekend working.
• Take an active role in service development and collaboration with local service providers.
• Flexible and partial remote working patterns are accommodated.
