Job summary

Wirral University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust invites applications for a Consultant Radiologist to join our radiology team. The post offers up to 2 days of remote working and a focus on GI specialty interest.

The role includes participation in the diagnostic on-call rota, weekend sessions and a commitment to service development within the department. We seek a passionate, innovative radiologist with broad competency across ultrasound, CT, MRI and radiography, and who is either on GMC Specialist

Qualifications

• Entry onto GMC Specialist Register or within six months of obtaining CCT/CCST/CESR.
• Broad radiology experience across radiography, ultrasound, CT and MRI.
• Evidence of continuous professional development and audit participation.
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to flexible and partial remote working patterns.
• Disclosure and Barring Service check required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the diagnostic on-call rota and weekend sessions.
• Take an active role in service development and redesign with local providers.
• Collaborate with the radiology team to deliver high-quality patient care.
