Job summary

TEKsystems in Edinburgh, UK, seeks a skilled Python developer focused on AI/ML to join a dynamic team. You will build and deploy Python-based AI/ML services and re-platform critical systems to a cloud-native AWS environment.

The role requires strong Python development, AWS expertise, and hands-on Terraform and Kubernetes experience. You will work within an agile framework to deliver on a strategic technology initiative while supporting offshore knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Python developer, particularly in an AI/ML context.
• Strong familiarity with the AWS ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform.
• Proficiency with containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python-based AI and ML services.
• Deploy and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with existing teams to ensure cohesive, strategic platform direction.
• Assist in upskilling offshore team members on new technologies and architectures.
• Contribute to re-platforming services from IBM Cloud to AWS.
• Work in an agile framework to meet the 2027 book of work.
