Job summary

House & Holiday Home Mortgages is recruiting a dedicated protection advisor to specialise in life cover, CIC, IP, FIB and business protection. This self-employed role offers access to a warm referral pipeline from day one and full FCA compliance within the Mortgage Intelligence framework.

Fully remote across the UK with admin support and no fixed desk, you’ll work with a mortgage-led team to convert referrals and protect clients efficiently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years dedicated protection advisory experience.
• Proven experience across life, CIC, IP, FIB and business protection.
• High compliance standards and thorough record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Expert protection advice across life, CIC, IP, FIB and business protection.
• Receiving warm referrals from mortgage advisors and converting them.
• Conducting protection fact-finds and providing tailored recommendations.
• Handling objections with empathy to explain the cost of unprotection.
• Managing cases through to policy inception with admin support.
• Collaborating with the mortgage team to ensure no client falls through the gaps.
• Revisiting the back book to find dormant opportunities.
• Maintaining FCA compliance within Mortgage Intelligence framework.
