Job summary

Crawford & Company seeks a Technical Adjuster for a home-based role with regional travel within the United Kingdom. You will lead a team of Adjusters, oversee technical quality, and handle a mixed caseload of property claims up to £100K, while providing guidance and direction to colleagues.

The ideal candidate has loss adjusting experience, FCA/FOS knowledge, strong communication and IT skills, and a full UK driving licence. Travel flexibility and DBS checks may apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in loss adjusting or commercial/domestic claims handling.
• Strong technical knowledge within the adjusting and claims environment.
• Extensive knowledge of FCA/FOS procedures.
• Strong communication skills (verbal/written).
• Strong IT skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Flexibility to travel.
• ACII/ACILA qualification (desirable).
• Proven experience with scoping software and handheld devices (desirable).
• Understanding of Client SLA compliance, productivity, and quality requirements (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and quality oversight within a team of Adjusters handling property claims up to £100K.
• Mentor and support colleagues while managing a small caseload.
• Deliver training and contribute to learning and development initiatives.
• Manage client relationships through SLA/KPI delivery and proactive client/broker interaction.
