Job summary

The Elephant Group in the Midlands, Yorkshire and the North East is seeking a Programme Coordinator to deliver our Elephant Access and Meta Method programmes. The role is largely in-person, coordinating school visits, events and communications.

You will build strong relationships with partner schools, manage logistics and data collection, and support reporting. A driving licence and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to supporting state-educated students' progression
• Able to deliver engaging sessions to groups of young people and adapt content
• Excellent relationship-building with schools, teachers and partners
• Highly organised with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple moving parts

Responsibilities

• Be the main contact for a portfolio of partner schools and build relationships with link teachers
• Plan and deliver school visits, from workshops to assemblies for up to 100 students
• Coordinate Launch Events, Spring Conferences and Summer Academies with university partners
• Assist with data collection, student surveys and impact reporting
• Create teacher and student bulletins and newsletters, manage student-facing social media
• Manage the programmes team's shared inbox and respond to schools, students, and partners
• Complete a full handover and training, with shadowing before taking on own schools
