Job summary

AVD Appoint are recruiting for a Principal Structural Engineer to work on a fully remote basis for a leading UK engineering organisation. Salary up to £80,000 + Benefits.

You will design steel structures with fire resistance in mind, aligning with BS EN 1991-1-2, BS EN 1993-1-2 and BS EN 1992-1-2. Chartered (CEng) and IFireE membership are preferred, with career progression opportunities across the UK projects.

Qualifications

• Experience as Structural Fire Engineer or similar role.
• Designs structures to withstand fire using BS EN 1991-1-2, 1993-1-2 and 1992-1-2 standards.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) and membership of IFireE preferred.

• Lead the design of steel structures with fire performance requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across UK projects.
