Job summary

Options Resourcing Ltd is seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer for a fully remote UK role. You will own mechanical design across a portfolio of high-rise residential and large-scale developments, leading a team of engineers and taking responsibility from concept through construction.

The role is hands-on with limited travel for essential project/site visits, offering remote work with strong client and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience leading mechanical design for high-rise residential buildings.
• Proven ability to manage projects from concept to construction.
• Chartered Engineer status is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of heating, ventilation, cooling, heat pumps and heat networks.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design across a portfolio of developments.
• Mentor engineers and oversee project delivery.
• Coordinate with clients, architects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Review calculations, schematics, specifications and drawings for quality.
