Job summary

Montu UK is seeking a Prescription Support Coordinator to join our team in King's Cross, London. This busy role focuses on reviewing prescription requests, recording patient preferences, and escalating to pharmacists when needed.

You do not need pharmacy experience; we value accuracy, organisation and a patient-centered approach. You will work with clinical and operational colleagues to ensure smooth, GDPR-compliant processes and high-quality communication with patients.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration, data entry or process-driven roles requiring accuracy.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to stay focused on repetitive tasks.
• Strong organisational skills to meet deadlines and manage workloads.
• Solutions-focused with proactive escalation when needed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with patients.
• Comfort with computer systems and learning new platforms quickly.

Responsibilities

• Review and process a high volume of prescription requests accurately.
• Contact patients by phone, email or messaging to discuss quantities.
• Maintain up-to-date patient records across internal systems.
• Escalate discrepancies to pharmacists or prescribers.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to keep processes moving.
• Follow SOPs and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Handle patient information confidentially in line with GDPR.
• Deliver clear, compassionate communication to patients.
• Aim to meet daily and weekly productivity and accuracy targets.
