Job summary

Westminster Foundation for Democracy seeks an experienced Practice Lead Governance and Politics to lead the Governance and Politics practice within the Centre of Expertise. You will work closely with the Head of Centre of Expertise, operate independently, and build strong relationships with partners and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Governance evidence, policy, and practice including Political Economy Analysis (PEA) with understanding of political dynamics and institutions globally.
• Political systems, including elections, parliaments, and civil society, with emphasis on inclusive politics.
• Influencing and advising, setting policy direction, and providing programme leadership on political governance.
• Public sector governance at national and local levels; applying evidence to reform processes.

Responsibilities

• Strategically lead governance and politics across the organisation and external partners.
• Support design and delivery of programming with intellectual and managerial leadership.
• Deliver high-level technical governance advice and develop publications; engage with networks.
