Job summary

Mace is delivering PMO and Project Controls support for a nationally significant infrastructure project in Immingham, with most work remotely and on-site twice a month in the Southampton area. The role suits someone with experience in large-scale infrastructure, marine, ports, transport or heavy civil projects.

You will deliver monthly reports, support framework implementation, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive performance and continuous improvement across PMO disciplines.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of construction/delivery lifecycle.
• Knowledge of PMO and Project Controls delivery in sectors such as rail, highways, nuclear, public sector or hospitals.
• Ability to travel to Southampton on an ad hoc basis.

Responsibilities

• Deliver PMO and Project Controls performance on assigned commissions with mentorship from senior PMO/Project Controls or PM/Programme Management.
• Guide the effective implementation of PMO and Project Controls framework/strategy on assigned commissions.
• Partner with internal/external stakeholders to build strong professional relationships with client representatives.
• Deliver monthly reports and facilitate performance reporting and reviews.
• Identify development opportunities in PMO and Project Controls methodologies such as EVM.
• Drive integration of PMO and Planning disciplines (such as Risk Management and Planning).
• Develop alignment of PMO and Project Controls activity to the Mace control centre, client requirements and legislation.
• Collaborate toward net zero carbon transition and manage associated emissions reductions during delivery.
