Job summary
La Fosse is seeking an experienced PMO Lead to establish and run a technology and product PMO for a global organisation. Initial onsite work in Oxfordshire with progression to remote work.
The role involves working closely with CTO, CPO and senior leadership to increase visibility and governance across the technology portfolio. A hands-on, autonomous leader will drive reporting and improvements.
Qualifications
- Experience establishing, resetting or significantly improving a PMO.
- Strong technology/product portfolio experience including Azure DevOps experience.
- Excellent portfolio governance and delivery assurance capability.
- Experience with resource/capacity planning and project financials.
- Confident working directly with CTO/CPO/Board-level stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and challenge.
Responsibilities
- Establish and continuously improve the PMO framework, governance and reporting.
- Provide portfolio-level oversight across milestones, RAID, dependencies and delivery health.
- Develop visibility of resource demand, capacity and utilisation.
- Track budgets, forecasts, costs and benefits alongside Finance.
- Produce concise, decision-focused reporting for executive and Board audiences.
- Challenge Project Managers constructively and drive consistent reporting without direct line authority.
- Improve and automate portfolio reporting and processes.
