Job summary

Fusion Consulting Ltd is seeking a Payroll Assistant for maternity cover. This fixed-term contract of about nine months is fully remote.

You will provide end-to-end payroll and administrative support across multiple clients, ensuring payroll is processed accurately in line with HMRC, pension schemes and statutory requirements. Responsibilities include processing PAYE payments, updating records, and supporting AML/KYC and general administration from a remote team.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll, finance, accounts or admin role.
• Understanding of UK payroll and PAYE.
• Experience with HMRC requirements.
• Strong numerical accuracy.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Experience managing high-volume inboxes.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end payroll processing for multiple clients.

• Update client addresses across records.
