Job summary

Oxbridge Summer Scholars seeks a creative Social Media Executive to own OSS's Instagram and TikTok presence for UK remote programmes, planning, filming, editing, and posting content to grow an engaged audience.

You will stay on trend, coordinate with photographers, work with admissions and marketing, and ensure all content respects copyright and consent. Part-time, about 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of social media management experience (IG & TikTok).
• Experience handling multiple platforms for projects.
• Comfortable appearing on camera and presenting content.
• Strong editing passion and skills.
• Experience with UGC creators, outreach, briefing and content approval.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Native English speaker or high proficiency (C1–C2).
• Based in the UK or willing to travel for summer intakes.
• Passion for content creation and social media, preferably in education or student travel.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow OSS's Instagram and TikTok, from content calendar to daily posting and community management.
• Develop and test other platforms, such as YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn.
• Track follower growth, engagement, and reach, and adjust strategy based on data.
• Appear on camera regularly presenting and narrating content.
• Produce and edit short-form video content using CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve; design assets with Canva, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Adapt content for each platform's format and audience.
• Coordinate with photographers and videographers to plan content production and deliverables.
• Stay on top of trends and translate them into OSS content.
• Build a content pipeline with admissions/marketing on messaging; manage relationships with UGC creators and influencers.
• Support the wider marketing team with content needs for campaigns and events.
