Job summary

Network N Holdings is seeking a detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our Bath-based finance team on a permanent part-time basis (20 hours over 5 days). The role covers day-to-day accounting, cash flow, month-end close, and reports, with a focus on accuracy and timely delivery.

You will maintain ledgers, process invoices, prepare management accounts, support VAT returns, and liaise with external accountants. Ideally you will have Xero, Excel, and accounting qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Management Accountant or similar hands-on finance role.
• Experience preparing and managing cash-flow forecasts.
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining accurate financial records, ledgers and journals.
• Processing purchase invoices and maintaining accounts payable ledger.
• Raising sales invoices and maintaining accounts receivable ledger with light credit control.
• Reconciling bank statements and supplier accounts.
• Preparing and maintaining the 13-week rolling cash-flow forecast.
• Managing month-end close, including journals and accruals/prepayments.
• Preparing and presenting monthly management accounts and reports with variance analysis.
• Preparing VAT returns and assisting with statutory filings.
• Liaising with external accountants on year-end preparation and other filings.
• Preparing and reviewing payroll using a managed payroll service.
• Performing other ad hoc finance duties as directed.
