Arbor Education is seeking a dedicated Part Time Payroll Officer to join our team in the UK. You will manage monthly payroll operations for a portfolio of customers and ensure accurate payments by specified deadlines.

The role requires experience in payroll processing, knowledge of HMRC rules, and familiarity with Auto Enrolment. You will work with Google Suite, analyse data, and apply AI to improve accuracy in a remote setting.

Competenze

• Degree or equivalent and/or payroll qualification.
• Experience in payroll processing; education sector a bonus.
• Solid understanding of HMRC requirements including Tax, NI and deductions.
• Experience with Auto Enrolment pension schemes.
• Proficient in Google Suite and data analysis.
• Proactive use of AI to enhance work.
• High attention to detail and ability to multi-task under pressure.
• Desirable: LGPS or TPS knowledge.

Mansioni

• Manage a portfolio of customers' monthly payroll operations from start to finish.
• Ensure all staff are paid correctly and within deadlines.
• Update payroll system with current pay scales, pension rates, NI rates, and tax thresholds.
• Calculate pay adjustments, including holiday pay and statutory payments.
• Report payments to HMRC and maintain accuracy with stakeholders.
• Maintain GDPR and ISO27001 data protection standards.
