Job summary

Latus Group is hiring an Occupational Health Nurse Advisor (FT, remote with regional travel). This role focuses on sickness absence management, fitness-for-work advice, and coordinating safe, timely returns to work for employees across UK client sites.

The ideal candidate is a Registered Nurse with NMC registration and an Occupational Health qualification or equivalent experience, capable of accurate reporting and effective stakeholder communication within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Occupational Health qualification, or significant Occupational Health experience.
• Competent in venipuncture, health surveillance and clinical assessment.
• Strong case management and fitness-for-work experience.
• Exceptional communication and report-writing skills, with the ability to influence and advise stakeholders at all levels.
• A compassionate, proactive and employee-focused approach.
• Self-motivated, with the confidence to work independently while remaining connected to a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conducting management referrals and sickness absence assessments.
• Providing balanced, practical fitness for work advice.
• Supporting employees with safe and sustainable returns to work.
• Advising on reasonable workplace adjustments.
• Producing high-quality reports that help managers make informed decisions.
• Providing ongoing support where continuity of care benefits the individual.
