Robert Gordon University (RGU) in Aberdeen invites applications for a Lecturer in Nursing. The role supports undergraduate and postgraduate nursing teaching across the School of Health, with potential for part-time or full-time commitment and some home-working in line with our flexible working approach.

Ideal candidates will hold a degree in a relevant area, be NMC-registered, and bring clinical/educational experience.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Knowledge of current policy and priorities relevant to professional practice.
• Experience in clinical and/or educational settings.

Responsibilities

• Participates in development and preparation of teaching.
• Provides tutorial and personal guidance for students.
• Supervises undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Develops and maintains expertise in subject area.
• Contributes to curriculum development and teaching methods.
• Establishes professional and industrial links to support courses.
• Promotes the School and its courses to diverse audiences.
• Represents the School on committees and external bodies.
