Job summary

A leading NHS ambulance service provider in Milton Keynes is seeking NHS 111 Health Advisors for homeworking roles. You'll be responsible for managing a variety of calls, assisting people in distress, and providing reassurance. The ideal candidates will have experience in a customer service environment and be NHS Pathways trained for at least 12 months. Competitive pay of £12.75 with additional unsocial hour allowances is offered, alongside comprehensive training and benefits including NHS pension and holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

• 2 GCSEs at equivalent of grade 4 or above including English.
• Minimum of 12 months NHS Pathways training required.
• Experience in dealing with the public in a service capacity.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals experiencing mental health crises.
• Assist callers with various health-related inquiries.
• Handle a diverse range of calls efficiently and compassionately.

Skills

Experience in customer/patient services

Experience with computerised systems

Knowledge of first aid and/or anatomy

Experience in a call centre

Ability to manage stress

Education

2 GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English
