Job summary

ExtraHop is seeking a Global Support Engineer I to join a remote-first, flexible shift team in the UK. You will grow as a support engineering professional while deepening hands-on knowledge of networking infrastructure as a service, helping customers secure their networks in a dynamic threat landscape.

You will work with customers to resolve technical issues, deploying hardware and firmware, contributing to Knowledge Centered Services, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in B2B Technical Support.
• In-depth knowledge of the OSI Model.
• Understanding of network infrastructure routing and switching concepts.
• Excellent customer service, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Certifications in networking or infrastructure (e.g., Network+).
• Certifications in Cyber Security (e.g., Security+).

Responsibilities

• Provide hardware and firmware deployment support for appliances.
• Troubleshooting and resolving customer technical issues.
• Act as single point of contact for customer questions and concerns.
• Assist with initial ticket handling and escalation when needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose complex issues.
• Assist with network configuration and third-party integrations.
• Use ticketing system to update progress and communicate with customers.
• Attend regular in-office meetings and training sessions.
