Job summary

Glasswell and Last Ltd in Suffolk invites a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our design team. You will produce fabrication drawings, 2D/3D models, BOMs and respond to technical queries across water, gas and electrical distribution projects.

Applicants should have strong Autodesk experience (Inventor, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Revit) and be able to liaise with clients, project managers and site teams. A UK driving licence is required. Salary £30-40k, negotiable.

Qualifications

• Experience with Autodesk modelling software is required.
• Full UK driving licence and own car.
• Water industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce fabrication drawings, 2D/3D modelling and Bills of Materials.
• Address technical queries and ensure design outputs are compliant.
• Liaise with client design resources, project managers and site teams.
• Assist in technical specifications and related documentation.
