Job summary

OneOcean is seeking a technically strong Management Accountant for a 6‑month fixed-term contract. You will work across Ocean Technologies Group and OneOcean in a multi-entity environment, delivering accurate month‑end accounts, financial reporting, and robust controls.

The role requires ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent, 3–5 years’ experience, and hands-on ERP expertise with NetSuite or SAP. Remote working is supported.

Qualifications

• Qualified management accountant with ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in financial or management accounting, ideally multi-entity.
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and practical experience with deferred/accrued income.
• Hands-on experience producing management accounts, journal adjustments, and reconciling complex balance sheet areas.
• Excellent Excel skills and ability to manipulate large data sets for insightful reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite or SAP, including report extraction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and finalise monthly management accounts for multiple legal entities including journal posting and schedules.
• Lead or support reporting, cost analysis, and ensure alignment with policies.
• Own balance sheet areas: accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, intercompany reconciliations.
• Prepare P&L reports, variance analysis, and management commentary for leadership.
• Assist with internal and external reporting deliverables including monthly group TB submission.
• Assist with VAT returns, R&D tax credits, and corporate tax packs; support audits.
