Qualifications

• Juris Doctor or LLB from an accredited institution.
• Admission to practice law in a relevant jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in legal compliance and risk management.
• Deep knowledge of SAR and international regulations (POPIA, GDPR, FICA where applicable).
• Proven ability to design and implement compliance programs.
• Experience in internal investigations and regulatory interactions.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance programs and policies.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and mitigate identified risks.
• Monitor regulatory changes and advise on policy adjustments.
