Job summary

TXP is seeking a Lead Solution Architect to steer a Legacy-to-Cloud Migration programme. You will lead a squad of Solution Architects, providing architectural oversight from discovery through migration planning, testing, cutover and early-life support.

You will drive architectural coherence, govern migration approaches to AWS patterns, manage dependencies, and resolve complex issues that span multiple services and PODs. Strong leadership and security-conscious mindset required.

Qualifications

• Experience as Lead Solution Architect on large-scale hosting transition, application migration or cloud migration programmes.
• Experience leading architects and technical teams responsible for moving live services.
• Strong understanding across applications, infrastructure, networks and service integration.
• Ability to interpret discovery outputs into concrete migration plans using repeatable patterns.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate and provide technical direction to a squad of Solution Architects.
• Own architectural coherence across the migration programme and align migration approaches to AWS patterns.
• Review and assure outputs including migration approaches, dependencies and risks.
• Provide governance for complex or high-risk services spanning multiple PODs or domains.
• Maintain a programme-level view of upstream/downstream dependencies and network routes.
• Translate discovery outputs into executable technical plans for Migration and Infra teams.
• Chair architecture reviews and drive timely decisions and ownership of actions.
• Coach Solution Architects to improve consistency and quality of analysis and engagement.
