Job summary

Summit Resourcing is seeking a Lead Mobile Engineer to build and own the mobile experience from the ground up for a London-based fintech platform. This role offers remote work within the UK, a base salary in the 120k–180k range, and significant equity.

You will shape architecture, own end-to-end mobile delivery, and influence product strategy from day one. You will lead iOS and Android development, manage releases on App Store and Google Play, and collaborate with product and design to translate

Qualifications

5+ years of Android development experience.
Proven experience owning products and features end-to-end.
Experience taking products from ideation through production release.
Experience with Expo and Expo Application Services (EAS).
Deep understanding of App Store and Google Play release processes.
Experience integrating with backend systems and APIs.
Strong focus on performance optimization and app quality.

Responsibilities

Build and ship production-grade iOS and Android applications using React Native and TypeScript.
Own mobile architecture decisions from concept through deployment.
Manage the entire release process across the App Store and Google Play Store.
Build and maintain Expo and EAS deployment pipelines.
Collaborate closely with product and design teams to turn Figma designs into exceptional user experiences.
Integrate seamlessly with backend services and APIs.
Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
Drive best practices across testing, monitoring, and mobile development standards.
