Job summary

A regional authority in the UK is looking for a confident and detail-oriented individual for a role in the Land Charge Team. The position involves processing registrations and property searches while ensuring targets and legal requirements are met. Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and eye for accuracy.
  • Excellent IT skills and familiarity with land and property information systems.
  • Ability to work flexibly, under own initiative and to deadlines.
  • Confident communication skills and a 'can do' attitude.
  • Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with data management and digital mapping preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Process registrations and property searches to meet performance targets and legal requirements.
  • Collate and process information from council departments and other bodies.
  • Use the Council's land and property systems to update and retrieve land-related data.
  • Assist solicitors, conveyancing agencies and the public with land charge queries.
  • Apply an understanding of data management systems, digital mapping and related topographical information.
