Job summary

Canal River Trust is seeking an IT Business Relationship Lead to bridge IT with the wider organisation. You will translate strategic objectives into technology solutions, working with stakeholders to deliver measurable value.

Role is remote with attendance at hub spaces or Trust locations as required; 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Base salary of £40,000 plus benefits; opportunity to lead innovation and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with business teams at various levels of seniority.
• Leading cross-functional teams to determine business and functional requirements.
• Awareness of data and reporting tools, security, integration capabilities and automation/AI.
• Knowledge of integration and cloud technologies.
• Experience with business process improvement and requirements gathering techniques.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with business leaders and stakeholders.
• Align IT initiatives with organisational goals and priorities.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes via technology and data.
• Manage and communicate the business demand pipeline and priorities.
• Monitor IT project delivery, performance and risks with stakeholders.
• Ensure high-quality IT service delivery via KPIs and SLAs.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and drive ROI-focused initiatives.
• Develop business cases, requirements and project proposals.
• Promote best practice in business analysis and documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers, partners and funding bodies to deliver projects on time and budget.
