Job summary

IRIS Software Group in the UK is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract to lead internal IT and technology-enabled business projects. You will bring structure, pace and clear communication across applications, infrastructure, data, cyber security and workplace technology to deliver agreed outcomes.

You’ll report to the Principal Programme Manager in a close-knit IT team and the role can be performed fully remotely with occasional workshops in Manchester or

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering complex internal IT projects and technology-enabled change.
• Strong planning, governance and budget management capabilities.
• Experience across infrastructure, applications, data, security or workplace tech.
• Comfort with RAID logs and clear written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Calm, organized, pragmatic approach with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects end to end from initiation to handover.
• Build and maintain project plans, budgets, governance docs and status reports.
• Manage scope, schedules, resources, risks and change control.
• Run workshops and governance forums; capture actions and decisions.
• Coordinate delivery across apps, infra, data, security and IT ops.
• Support due diligence, transition planning and tech migrations for M&A or divestments.
• Maintain financial control against approved Investment Case with Finance.
• Plan a sustainable transition into BAU with clear ownership and handover.
