Job summary

Best Practice Network is seeking an Internal Quality Assurer for Early Years SENCO provision. The role focuses on QA across the learner journey, observations, and feedback to observees, tutors and mentors.

The ideal candidate holds IQA and assessor qualifications and can operate in both on-site and remote settings within the UK. Responsibilities include sampling plans, monitoring progress, and contributing to staff development plans.

Qualifications

• Hold an Assessor qualification.
• Hold an IQA qualification (V1, D34, TAQA).
• Strong IT skills and experience with relevant software.
• Experience in assessing and quality assurance in education.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality assurance activities in line with the IQA Strategy and awarding body requirements throughout the learner journey.
• Produce sampling plans based on risk and in line with the IQA strategy.
• Conduct observations of coaching, teaching, learning and assessment, in the workplace and remotely, with constructive feedback.
• Monitor assessment to ensure learner progress and provide feedback to tutors and mentors.
• Support Tutors to create and implement action plans to ensure learner progression.
• Collaborate on standardisation to ensure consistency of assessment decisions.
