Job summary

Oakmoor Recruitment Ltd. is seeking an experienced Internal Quality Assurer with a background in Health & Social Care or CYP to support apprenticeship delivery. The role is hybrid, split between travel to the Cardiff learning centre and working from home.

The position offers a salary of £31k-£40k depending on experience, with an excellent benefits package and full-time permanent status.

Qualifications

• IQA Qualification (D34, V1 or TAQA).
• Assessor Award (CAVA/A1/D32/33 or equivalent).
• Strong occupational competence in Health & Social care or Children and Young People.

Responsibilities

• Verify assignments, portfolios and assessment activity to ensure quality across contracts.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver quality provisions per awarding body guidelines.
• Provide guidance through 1-2-1 sessions, group delivery and standardisation meetings.
• Monitor learner progression and carry out progression reviews/additional support when needed.

OVERVIEW: IQA - HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE

We are currently seeking an experienced Internal Quality Assurer with a background in either Health & Social Care or CYP (Children and Young People) to support the IQA process, ensuring successful completion of Apprenticeships qualifications for an award-winning training provider.

The role is hybrid and split between travel to Cardiff learning centre and working from home.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: IQA - HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE

Working closely within in the management team to ensure quality of assessment, teaching and learning across apprenticeship delivery

Observe training delivery staff in line with Assessment and Observation Strategy, providing feedback on best practice, identifying development needs and providing support

Support assessors and address areas for improvement identified as a result of sampling, monitoring; providing support and guidance as required through 1-2-1 sessions, group delivery and standardisation meetings

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: IQA - HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE

• Verify assignments, portfolios and assessment activity to assist in the management of the quality of accredited qualifications for all contracts ensuring both internal and national standards are maintained and needs of learners are being met.
• Working closely with internal and external key stakeholders, while ensuring delivery of a range of quality provisions, you will follow code of practise and or the agreed procedure for any awarding bodies.
• Provide support and guidance as required through 1-2-1 sessions, group delivery and standardisation meetings
• Ensure the highest standards of learner completions are met and to monitor candidates' progress, including carrying out regular progression reviews/additional support reviews.
