Viator, a Tripadvisor company, is seeking a Remote Software Engineer II for iOS to join our Travellers Engineering team. You will help build and maintain the Viator iOS app and related backend services.

Based in the UK with a remote-first approach and optional in-person gatherings at our Oxford or London hubs, you will collaborate with product and design teams across Europe to deliver high quality, scalable features and ship changes frequently.

Qualifications

• Experience developing an iOS app with Swift
• 3+ years of commercial software development
• Experience with reactive programming in native mobile platforms
• Willingness to adapt to new technologies
• Ability to break down complex problems
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Sense of ownership and accountability

Responsibilities

• Code and ship features for iOS applications
• Touch code at all levels; may work on backend microservices
• Collaborate with Product and design to define feature specifications
• Own software engineering aspects from design to QA and maintenance
• Coordinate with global engineering teams
