Job summary

Viator, a Tripadvisor company, is seeking a Software Engineer II with iOS development experience to join our Viator team. This role supports a remote-first working model with periodic in-person gatherings at the closest office, typically within a 2-3 hour commute to Oxford or London.

You will participate in full development, collaborating with Product and Design to define feature specs, and take responsibility for all software engineering aspects, including QA and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of commercial software development experience.
• Experience with iOS apps and mobile web or back-end tech is beneficial.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full development process from design, coding, testing, to deployment and iteration.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to define feature specs and deliverables.
• Take responsibility for design, implementation, QA, and maintenance of software.
• Develop iOS apps and be familiar with mobile web and back-end technologies.
• Ensure high-quality deliverables with reactive programming on native mobile platforms.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
