Placements24 is seeking a remote Insurance Data Analyst to join our analytics team. You will collect, process, and analyze large insurance datasets to identify trends and opportunities that influence pricing, underwriting, product development, and customer engagement.

You will translate complex data into actionable recommendations for underwriting, claims, marketing and product teams, collaborating with multiple departments in a fully remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in a quantitative field.
• 3–5 years of data analysis experience in insurance.
• Proficient in SQL and Python or R.
• Experience with Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong communication in a remote context.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and transform large datasets from insurance systems.
• Perform statistical analysis to identify patterns, trends, and correlations.
• Develop dashboards to visualize KPIs and insights.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to underwriting, claims, marketing and product teams.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization through data analysis.
