Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Commissioning Engineer (High Voltage) for a fully remote role with UK-wide travel. You will lead HV testing and commissioning projects up to 132kV, supported by senior engineers, and gain hands-on experience across utilities, renewables, and critical infrastructure.

You will travel nationwide to project sites, develop your skills, and contribute to safe, high-quality HV installations.

Qualifications

• Electrical background through apprenticeship, HNC/HND or hands-on experience.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Lead assistant engineers with HV testing & commissioning (up to 132kV+).
• Support equipment setup, safety checks, RAMS and documentation.
