Job summary

Hudson River Trading (HRT) is seeking an experienced HPC Storage Engineer to design, deploy, and manage storage for a world-class research and trading environment.

You will work with a small, collaborative team to scale petabyte-scale storage, automate operations, and evaluate new storage technologies to improve performance and reliability. The role offers opportunities to influence storage strategy and work across OS, networks, and software in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale HPC storage deployments (>1PB).
• Knowledge of distributed file systems (Lustre, CephFS, GPFS).
• Experience with Isilon, VAST, NetApp, Pure storage.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage storage solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex storage, OS, and networking issues.
• Build tools to monitor storage clusters.
