Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Hindi Audio Transcript Editor to clean up and polish transcripts for AI training. You will review transcripts for accuracy, align word timings precisely, and follow strict formatting rules on a fully remote, hourly-contract basis in the UK.

Ideal candidates are native or near-native Hindi speakers with keen attention to detail and the ability to work independently on flexible hours, 10–40 hours per week, with potential for ongoing work on new AI projects.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Hindi with excellent listening comprehension.
• Exceptionally detail-oriented with word-level accuracy.
• Able to follow detailed style guides and formatting instructions.

Responsibilities

• Listen to Hindi audio recordings and review corresponding transcripts for accuracy.
• Correct errors in transcription - including misheard words, missing segments, and incorrect spellings.
• Verify and adjust word-level timing and alignment to match the audio precisely.
• Apply detailed style and formatting guidelines consistently across all tasks.
• Flag ambiguous audio, overlapping speech, or segments requiring special attention.
• Maintain exceptional quality and consistency across large volumes of transcript data.
• Work independently and asynchronously - fully on your own schedule.
