Job summary

Sellick Partnership is seeking a qualified Highways Lawyer to join a council in the East Midlands on a remote, flexible basis. The role involves managing a caseload of highways matters, including section 278 and 38 agreements and rights of way.

The ideal candidate will be a Solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive in England and Wales with substantial PQE, with planning law exposure for a County Council advantageous, and a commitment to delivering sound legal advice.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive in England and Wales with significant post-qualification experience.
• Experience within planning law for a County Council would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload of section 278 agreements.
• Dealing with section 38 agreements.
• Handling Public Rights of Way matters.
